A Texas private eye probing the bizarre case of Robert Durst plans yet a third hunt for the missing head of Morris Black, the man the cross-dressing millionaire admits killing.
Bobbie Bacha decided to conduct the new search after a friend told her he saw a head – the eyes staring right up at him – in an inlet of Galveston Bay. “It really scared him,” she said. “He said he had never been so scared in his life.”
Bacha made three attempts to follow up, but each time she waded into the inlet, she kicked up so much silt that she couldn’t see anything.
She now plans to conduct a full-fledged search in late September or October, when the tide is low.
Durst, 59, has admitted killing Black, his neighbor in Galveston, but has said nothing about dismembering the 71-year-old man, whose torso and limbs washed up on the bay’s shore Sept. 30.
